Sign Agreement to Establish 'Cybersecurity Education and Training Center'
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (President Kim Kyunghwan) signed a business agreement on July 22 at the Bumin Campus of Dong-A University in Seo-gu, Busan, together with the National Intelligence Service branch, Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo), and Korea East-West Power (President Kwon Myungho) to jointly operate the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Cybersecurity Education and Training Center.

View original imageUnder this agreement, the four organizations plan to jointly establish and operate the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Cybersecurity Education and Training Center, with the goals of fostering cybersecurity professionals and strengthening the security capabilities of the local community.
The participating organizations will engage in comprehensive cooperation, including: creating educational and training environments; building and advancing cyber education and training systems; developing simulation training scenarios and content; operating cybersecurity education programs that link the public and private sectors; and facilitating academic and policy exchanges to vitalize the security ecosystem.
Kim Kyunghwan, President of Korea Housing Finance Corporation, emphasized, "This agreement is an important starting point that can contribute not only to nurturing cybersecurity talent in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region, but also to strengthening the national security system as a whole. We will actively support the education and training center so that it can deliver tangible results."
