National Assembly Legislation Committee Adopts Confirmation Report for Constitutional Court Nominee Oh Youngjun
Adopted Without Disagreement Between Ruling and Opposition Parties
The National Assembly adopted the confirmation hearing report for Oh Youngjun, nominee for Justice of the Constitutional Court, on July 22.
The Legislation and Judiciary Committee of the National Assembly held a plenary meeting that day and approved the adoption of the hearing report for Oh's nomination. The report was adopted without disagreement between the ruling and opposition parties.
As a result, hearing reports for nine nominees?including Justice Oh, Kim Sanghwan as President of the Constitutional Court, Lim Gwanghyun as Commissioner of the National Tax Service, Koo Yooncheol as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, Cho Hyun as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Jeonggwan as Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, Yoon Hojung as Minister of the Interior and Safety, Kim Seonghwan as Minister of Environment, and Bae Kyunghoon as Minister of Science and ICT?were adopted by bipartisan agreement.
