View original imageOn July 22, YG Entertainment announced that Blackpink has set a new record for the most number one rankings on the Billboard Global 200 chart among K-pop girl groups, achieving their third number one on the chart.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard in the United States, Blackpink's new song "Ttwieo" (JUMP) reached number one on both the Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. This marks their third number one on the Global 200 and their fourth on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, setting the highest number of number ones among K-pop girl groups on both charts.
"Ttwieo" recorded 123 million streams on the Global 200 chart, the highest number for a new song by a female artist worldwide released this year. On the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the song ranked 28th. Including this track, Blackpink has now entered the Hot 100 with a total of 10 songs, breaking the record for the most entries by a K-pop female artist.
The group also reached number one on the Spotify Weekly Top Songs Global chart, making them the K-pop group with the most number one songs on that chart. On the UK Official Chart, "Ttwieo" debuted at 18th place, setting a new personal best for the group.
The music video for "Ttwieo" ranked number one on YouTube's Global Daily Popular Music Video chart for eight consecutive days after its release, and also topped the weekly chart. Its cumulative views have surpassed 88 million.
