POSCO Group Donates 2 Billion KRW in Relief Funds for Heavy Rain Damage Recovery
On July 21, POSCO Group announced that it will donate 2 billion KRW in relief funds to support regions affected by heavy rainfall.
Group affiliates participating in the donation include POSCO Holdings, POSCO, POSCO International, POSCO E&C, POSCO Future M, and POSCO DX. The funds will be donated to the National Disaster Relief Association and will be used for emergency relief and recovery efforts in areas affected by the heavy rain, as well as for providing daily necessities and ensuring residential safety for disaster victims.
Jang Inhwa, Chairman of POSCO Group, stated, "We hope this support will help the affected regions recover from the severe damage caused by the heavy rainfall and return to normal life."

Previously, POSCO Group provided 2 billion KRW each in March of this year for wildfire damage in the Yeongnam region, for nationwide heavy rainfall and wildfire damage in Gangneung in 2023, and for recovery from heavy rainfall in the capital area and wildfire damage in North Gyeongsang and Gangwon regions in 2022.
