Gyeonggi Office of Education to Select 70 Education Policy Advisory Committee Members
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is publicly recruiting 'Gyeonggi Education Policy Advisory Committee Members'.
Applicants must possess expertise relevant to the functions of the subcommittees and wish to participate in the committee. Eligible candidates include those with experience in schools, research institutes, academic societies, non-profit organizations, educational organizations, civic groups, school operation committees, and parent associations.
The Office will select a total of 70 members, and the term of service will be two years, starting from September 1, 2025.
The Gyeonggi Education Policy Advisory Committee is an advisory body established in accordance with the 'Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Gyeonggi Education Policy Advisory Committee' and its 'Enforcement Rules'.
The main roles of the committee include: providing advice on the direction and planning of Gyeonggi education; advising on major policies and current issues in Gyeonggi education; and offering consultation on new or communication-intensive policies at the request of the Superintendent of Education.

An official from the Office stated, "With the formation of the 4th Advisory Committee, we plan to further strengthen the direction of Gyeonggi education and continue our efforts to establish and implement Gyeonggi Future Education policies so that every student can realize their dreams."
