Changwon Facilities Corporation Achieves 'Human Rights Management System Certification' for Fifth Consecutive Year
Gyeongnam Changwon Facilities Corporation announced on the 21st that it has received the 'Human Rights Management System Certification' from the Korea Management Registrar (KMR) in recognition of its efforts to promote a culture of respect for human rights. This marks the fifth consecutive year the corporation has obtained the certification since 2021.
The Human Rights Management System is a certification system in which the Korea Management Registrar comprehensively evaluates and certifies an organization's structure, systems, and implementation requirements for systematically managing human rights management.
In this assessment, the corporation received high marks for its efforts to improve human rights sensitivity, including enhancing human rights maturity, raising awareness of human rights among external stakeholders, strengthening human rights education, and designating human rights officers in each department to conduct training and campaigns.
Lee Kyungyun, Acting President, stated, "Through this recertification, we will make even greater efforts to guarantee the human rights of not only our employees but also a wide range of stakeholders, and to further promote a culture of respect for human rights."
