Kim Eun Sook and Yoon Harim stated, "Our hearts are heavy when we think of our neighbors who have lost their homes due to the sudden downpour," and added, "We hope that the damage will be restored as soon as possible so that everyone can regain happiness in their daily lives."
Both are members of the Hope Bridge Honors Club, a group of major donors. Since their first donation following the Sewol ferry disaster in 2014, they have consistently and promptly contributed whenever national disasters such as floods, wildfires, or earthquakes have occurred, making them representative 'disaster sharing practitioners.'
