Listening to Voices from the Field at the Agricultural Specialty Direct Sales Center Meeting
On July 18, Yeongju City held a meeting with related parties regarding the 'The Yeongju' agricultural specialty direct sales center, which is operated by Homeplus, and officially announced the full-scale launch of the 'Tongtongtong Project.'
The 'Tongtongtong Project,' under the slogan "Distribution is communication. With communication comes great success," is a policy initiative designed to shift the existing office-centered distribution administration to a field-oriented system. Its core goal is to create a structure in which producers, consumers, and the administration communicate and connect organically throughout the distribution process.
Approximately 20 people, including officials from the Distribution Support Division and representatives of companies participating in 'The Yeongju,' attended the meeting. They shared real-life challenges they face in areas such as promotion and logistics, and engaged in in-depth discussions on practical measures to respond to the changing distribution environment.
One company representative said, "This meeting was meaningful as it brought together the region and the administration as equal partners," adding, "I now have high expectations for Yeongju City's new distribution vision."
Kang Maeyoung, head of the Distribution Support Division, emphasized, "Distribution should not be just a flow of logistics, but a venue for communication where trust and stories are exchanged," and stated, "We will continue to pursue field-oriented distribution communication administration in the future."
