Fostering Talent in Intelligent Robotics: Yeungjin College and K-Medi Hub Sign MOU
On July 17, the Intelligent Robot Innovation Convergence University Project Group at Yeungjin College (headed by Ahn Sangwook) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Advanced Medical Device Development Support Center of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation (K-Medi Hub) to foster talent in the field of intelligent robotics.
This agreement was established with the aim of nurturing outstanding talent in the intelligent robotics technology sector and supporting technological innovation for companies through technical cooperation. The Intelligent Robot Innovation Convergence University Project Group at Yeungjin College, led by the college's AI Convergence Mechanical Engineering Department, is contributing to the cultivation and dissemination of talent in advanced technology fields.
Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to establish a multifaceted cooperation model, including the operation of joint educational programs, the provision of hands-on field training opportunities, and the exchange of technology and information. In particular, it is expected that a practical training environment will be created by utilizing K-Medi Hub's advanced educational facilities and equipment to enhance students' practical capabilities.
Students participating in the educational programs related to this agreement will take part in hands-on field training focused on practical experience, including on-site experiences at the foundation's advanced medical device center and introductions to research teams and equipment.
This collaboration is expected to greatly contribute not only to strengthening the competitiveness of the regional medical robotics industry, but also to producing achievements in medical device development and convergence technology research. Yeungjin College plans to join forces with K-Medi Hub to revitalize the regional medical industry ecosystem and secure future growth engines.
Ahn Sangwook, head of the project group at Yeungjin College, said, "Through this agreement, we will foster talent in the intelligent robotics field who can adapt to various industries, and create a model case of cooperation between the two institutions."
