On July 17, Changwon Special City signed a business agreement with the Korea Foundation for Media and Changwon Small Business Association to provide 'Online Media Utilization Training for Small Business Owners.'

View original imageThis agreement aims to support small business owners in expanding their online sales channels and strengthening their promotional capabilities in the era of digital transformation. The three organizations have agreed to establish a cooperative system and jointly promote media education, content production support, and projects to revitalize online distribution.
The main points of the agreement include: media education and related support to expand online sales channels for small business owners; discovering projects such as citizen-produced online content to promote small businesses and traditional markets; and cooperation on matters necessary to expand sales channels and revitalize online distribution for small business owners.
Under this agreement, Changwon Special City will be responsible for recruiting trainees and providing administrative support. The Korea Foundation for Media will handle specialized media education and project management, including training on smartphones, social media, AI, and YouTube (short-form content). The Changwon Small Business Association will be in charge of recruiting trainees and providing training venues.
The training targets local small business owners and prospective young entrepreneurs. Existing small business owners will receive basic smartphone utilization training, while prospective young entrepreneurs will be offered marketing education using online platforms such as social media, AI, and YouTube.
Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, "This agreement will serve as a solid foundation for small business owners to proactively respond to the changing digital environment and enhance their online competitiveness. We will continue to provide unwavering support to strengthen the practical capabilities and sustainable growth of small business owners."
