Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Participates in China Supply Chain Expo... "Developing Southern Ganghwa as a Supply Chain Hub"
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced on July 17 that it will participate in the 3rd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo, which will be held in Beijing, China, until July 20.
At this event, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority will present its plan to develop the southern part of Ganghwa as a free economic zone to the international community and discuss supply chain cooperation measures with advanced technology companies.

View original imageDuring the expo, the authority will operate a promotional booth for the Incheon Free Economic Zone and continue its investment attraction activities by meeting with leading Beijing-based companies in fields such as mobility and autonomous driving.
On July 16, the first day of the expo, Yoon Wonseok, Commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, participated as a speaker in a panel discussion on "Stable Global Supply Chain Cooperation Measures," where he proposed developing the southern part of Ganghwa as a global supply chain hub.
He stated, "We will foster Incheon as a global supply chain hub in Northeast Asia and create a business ecosystem for advanced technology companies. Based on already concluded free trade agreements such as Korea-China, Korea-US, and Korea-EU FTAs, we will strengthen investment and supply chain cooperation to develop the southern part of Ganghwa into a new center for supply chain collaboration."
Commissioner Yoon also attended a networking event hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCOIC). With representatives from regional chambers of commerce in China and global Chinese business networks in attendance, he discussed business cooperation measures centered on the southern part of Ganghwa and invited participants to the World Korean Business Convention to be held in Incheon next year.
The China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo is the largest supply chain event in China, with 651 companies and organizations from 75 countries participating.
