Youngsoo Han Inaugurated as 4th Senior Committee Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business
"We Will Set an Example for the Small and Medium Business Community"
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on July 17 that it held the '2025 Senior Committee Chairman Inauguration and Retirement Ceremony' at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.
The Senior Committee, established in May 2019, is the Federation's official advisory body. It is composed of former and current chairpersons of small and medium business cooperatives, and serves as an advisory group for organizational management and resolving current issues faced by cooperatives.

View original imageDuring the event, the Federation recognized the contributions of Hyukhong Kwon, who served as chairman of the 2nd and 3rd Senior Committees and is also the chairman of the Korea Paper Industry Cooperative, and celebrated the inauguration of Youngsoo Han, chairman of the Korea Synthetic Resin Processing Machinery Cooperative, as the new chairman of the 4th Senior Committee.
In his inaugural address, the new chairman Youngsoo Han stated, "Having been with the Senior Committee since its launch in 2019, I have witnessed former chairman Hyukhong Kwon's dedication more closely than anyone else. Together with my senior colleagues in the cooperative sector, I will lead the committee with an even greater sense of responsibility so that we can become a model for the small and medium business community."

Kim Gimon, chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, said, "Chairman Hyukhong Kwon has led the Senior Committee to become the most active among the Federation's special committees over the past four years. I hope that, going forward, under the leadership of the new chairman Youngsoo Han, the committee will continue to set an example for younger entrepreneurs through ongoing social responsibility initiatives."
