Sejong City Offers Free Internet Access on All Buses
Public Wi-Fi Installed on All Routes of Metropolitan, City, and Village Buses
Public Wi-Fi, which can be used free of charge, has been installed and is now available on all metropolitan, city, and village buses operating in the Sejong area. This initiative aims to enhance the convenience of public transportation users and to reduce their communication expenses.
The Sejong City government announced on July 17 that it has completed the project to install public Wi-Fi on buses this year.
From now on, public transportation users will be able to access the internet for free on all routes of metropolitan, city, and village buses without any additional charges. The public Wi-Fi is expected to deliver stable internet connectivity even while buses are in motion, which is anticipated to increase satisfaction among public transportation users.
A city official stated, "Now, any citizen using the bus can conveniently use public Wi-Fi without worrying about data usage," and added, "We will do our best to expand public facilities and functions to realize a digitally inclusive society."
