Lina Life Insurance to Provide Annual Support of Approximately 470 Million Won to 12 Public Interest Projects
Lina Life Insurance announced on July 17 that it will provide a total of approximately 470 million won in project funding to 12 public interest organizations through its social contribution foundation, Lina Foundation for Prime Years.
In April 2025, Lina Foundation for Prime Years recruited applicants for its "2025 Springboard Support Program." The Springboard program is designed to support organizations with programs and business ideas aimed at addressing social isolation among the "50+ generation," care workers, and marginalized groups, and improving their quality of life.
From April 21 to May 16, a total of 116 nonprofit organizations applied for the program. Through a process of document review and presentations, 12 organizations were ultimately selected.
The selected organizations will carry out tailored projects designed to support those in need of care, including reclusive and isolated middle-aged individuals, caregivers, cancer survivors, and elderly people with developmental disabilities. The 12 organizations are: Yukwhaehan Gongdongche, Jeju Yeongrak General Social Welfare Center, Mirae Forum, Cheongnyeon Gonggan Morakmorak, Pyeongchang Senior Welfare Center, Chunghyeon Welfare Center, Damsimpo Co., Ltd., Weeer Social Cooperative, Haengbok Gongjang, Korea Social Welfare Society Amsa Rehabilitation Center, Korea Autism Society, and Here Cycle.
Hong Bongseong, Chairman of Lina Foundation for Prime Years, stated, "We hope that these organizations will be able to make a powerful leap forward from the Springboard through projects that fill gaps in society with careful observation and creative solutions," adding, "We will continue to support these 12 projects as a growth partner to ensure their stable operation."
