hy's "Helicobacter Project Will Sugar Balance" Surpasses 20 Million in Cumulative Sales
Reducing Sugar, Adding Functionality...
Subscription Rate Rises by 63.7%
On July 17, hy announced that cumulative sales of its "Helicobacter Project Will Sugar Balance" have surpassed 20 million units.
hy cited customer trust in the "Helicobacter Project Will" (hereafter referred to as "Will") brand as the key factor behind the growth of Will Sugar Balance. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Will is the top-selling drinkable fermented dairy product in Korea. Through a total of 11 renewals, the brand has enhanced its competitiveness, recording annual sales of 330 billion KRW and cumulative sales of 6 trillion KRW. The product features proprietary patented probiotics "HP7" and "HY7013," as well as additional ingredients such as Perilla frutescens and cabbage.
The "low-spec" formulation, which aligns with the Healthy Pleasure trend, is also a major strength. Will Sugar Balance contains 3.7g of sugar per bottle, which is about 7.4% of the World Health Organization's (WHO) recommended daily sugar intake. As the brand's first functional food with a health claim, it contains 2,300mg of "indigestible maltodextrin," which is known to help suppress blood sugar spikes. It also includes 6.3mg more of the proprietary natural ingredient "Kkujipong leaf extract" compared to previous versions.
Sales volume has continued to grow, with revenue increasing by 14.1% compared to the same period last year. The number of regular subscriptions also rose by 63.7% during the same period, indicating that it is becoming established as a healthy consumption habit rather than a one-time trial.
