The second installment of "In the Name of God," which was released in 2023 and sparked significant social controversy, is set to be unveiled.
Netflix announced on the 16th that it will release "I Am a Survivor," the sequel to "In the Name of God," on August 15. This documentary focuses on the voices of survivors from JMS (Jesus Morning Star), the Busan Hyungje Welfare Center, the Jijonpa case, and the Sampoong Department Store collapse.

Director Cho Seonghyun stated, "Watching Ms. Maple, a miraculous woman who fought against a massive cult and ultimately triumphed, I discovered the greatness of survival," explaining, "That is why we now refer to them not as victims, but as survivors." He added, "Past incidents are still being repeated today under the protection of the social system," and predicted, "The documentary will show not only the world of cults but also ourselves living in a 'pseudo world.'
