This program is a practical, resident-participatory initiative in which local residents, merchants, and other community members in the Suncheon Station area take part in a variety of activities, including exploring tourist attractions and popular restaurants in the station area, planning walking tour courses, and designing the village map. The city has completed the production of the village map, which captures the unique appeal of the Suncheon Station area in detail, based on residents walking through the neighborhood and sharing their opinions.
The station area village map has been produced in the shape of a fan, combining both practicality and local character, and will be distributed to residents, merchants, and tourists in the station area. In addition, it will be actively utilized in future station area events and related programs.
A city official emphasized, "This program is a meaningful project in which residents themselves discovered and shared vivid local stories," adding, "It will serve as an important opportunity for the community to strengthen cooperation and restore its identity."
