Democratic Party Gwangju Chapter to Launch "Political Talent 100-Year School" on July 16
The Gwangju Metropolitan Chapter of the Democratic Party of Korea announced on July 15 that it will launch the "2025 Gwangju Political Talent 100-Year School Political Academy" at 7:00 p.m. on July 16 at the chapter's second-floor education center, with the aim of fostering the next generation of political leaders.
This academy consists of eight specialized training sessions, with the first lecture to be delivered by Chapter Chair Yang Bunam (Gwangju Seo-gu-eul) on the topic of "Challenges for Political Leaders in Gwangju."
The "Gwangju Political Talent 100-Year School" is a core pledge of Chair Yang Bunam, and Representative Jung Jinwook (Gwangju Dongnam-gap) serves as the principal, operating the education program for all citizens of Gwangju.
Chair Yang emphasized, "Gwangju is the heart of the Democratic Party and a sacred place for democracy," and added, "Through this political academy, we will discover new political talent and lay the foundation for democracy."
