Hannam and Mokwon University Design Students Unveil 'Sports Kkumdori' Character in Daejeon

View original imageCharacter goods and digital content created by design major students from Hannam University and Mokwon University in Daejeon have been unveiled to the public for the first time. The newly developed 'Sports Kkumdori' character, created in collaboration with local university students, can be viewed in the lobby on the first floor of Daejeon City Hall for three days starting today (July 15).
The exhibition features life-size character cutouts, goods such as T-shirts and sun visors, and SNS video motion content utilizing QR codes. These analog and digital contents are designed to engage and communicate with citizens.
Tae Junup, Director of Sports and Health, stated, "The designs, infused with the passion and talent of the students, have become a valuable asset for Daejeon's sports marketing." He added, "This project, which incorporates the creativity of local youth into public design, will serve as a model case for strengthening the city's brand."
