View original imageThe event was held at the GC Green Cross Mokam Campus R&D Center in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, where participants toured the research facilities and engaged in a Q&A session related to the facilities. A total of about 60 people attended the event, including officials from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, National Institute of Food and Drug Safety Evaluation, Korea Health Industry Development Institute, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, and the association.
Since its completion in 2013, the GC Green Cross Mokam Campus R&D Center has developed innovative pharmaceuticals to address unmet medical needs in various therapeutic areas such as rare diseases and immune/inflammatory diseases, and has contributed to public health through the prevention of infectious diseases. In addition, the center continues to secure a diverse pipeline by strengthening expertise in key platforms such as plasma protein manufacturing technology, recombinant protein manufacturing technology, vaccine manufacturing technology, and next-generation mRNA/LNP manufacturing technology.

An association official stated, "We plan to continue operating open houses for various industrial sites, including pharmaceutical production facilities, research institutes, and museums," adding, "Through these efforts, we expect to strengthen communication with the public sector and enhance understanding of the industry."
