Featuring a seamless design with no visible stitching, the front side is made of 100% Tencel with a silky feel, while the side that touches the body uses a cool-to-the-touch fabric to ensure a comfortable sleep. Thanks to the popularity of cooling comforters, The Josun Hotel at Gwangju Shinsegae achieved more than 150% of its June sales target.
Lumena, which opened on the 8th floor of Gwangju Shinsegae's main building in June, is already seeing a steady stream of customers due to the heat wave. At Gwangju Shinsegae's Lumena, the model most sought after by customers is the Fan Classic3.
This fan can be used for up to 40 hours both wired and wirelessly, and it can rotate 360 degrees in all directions. In addition, the wind speed can be adjusted from level 1 to level 100, making it a preferred product for customers with young children who are trying to cope with tropical nights.
Kim Youngmin, head of the lifestyle team at Gwangju Shinsegae, said, "As the heat wave continues in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions, the number of customers looking for products to escape the heat is steadily increasing. We hope you will visit Gwangju Shinsegae, where we have prepared a variety of items such as cooling bedding and fans, and overcome the heat wave and tropical nights."
