Mayor Bang explained that, based on the city administration philosophy of "Connecting the City, People, and Future," he has led the city focusing on five core values: a self-sufficient growth city (Seong), a sustainable city coexisting with the environment (Nok), a smart transportation city (Tong), a welfare city where all generations feel secure (An), and a city that grows together with its citizens (Hyeop).
He cited major achievements such as hosting the WASBE World Conference, the 2025 Korea Forest Expo, and securing the 2026-2027 Gyeonggi Provincial Sports Festival, emphasizing, "We are expanding the foundation for culture and tourism, and moving toward becoming a sophisticated city suitable for international events."

In the transportation sector, he stated that the city is strengthening its foundation as a transportation hub in the southeastern metropolitan area through projects such as the Suseo-Gwangju double-track railway, the promotion of the GTX-D connection, and the expansion of community-based transportation services.
In the welfare sector, he explained that the city has established a welfare system encompassing care, independence, leisure, and health through customized policies for each stage of life, emphasizing support systems for all generations, including youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
Regarding collaborative governance and fiscal achievements, he added, "Over the past three years, we have secured 200.7 billion KRW in national and provincial funding, achieving the largest fiscal result in our history," and continued, "We have also been recognized for administrative achievements, such as receiving an SA grade in the pledge implementation evaluation and winning the Corporate SOS Operation Award 15 times."
