The purpose of this contest is to create a sustainable landscape model by utilizing the region's unique landscape resources.
According to Jangseong-gun on July 9, Ramp Park is a space where residents and public officials have planted and cultivated flowers together. It is also the venue for the "Donghwa Nara Verbena Festival," which was held last year and again this year. By transforming unused land into the center of a village festival, the park has attracted attention within the region.
Jangseong-gun plans to use the secured budget to install nighttime landscape lighting and sculptures in the park, as well as to supplement lacking amenities such as shade structures and benches. Through these improvements, the park will be developed into a space that can be enjoyed not only during the day but also at night. The project period is two years.
Kim Hanjong, the county governor, stated, "We will provide visitors with an unforgettable experience through the combination of purple verbena and nighttime lighting."
