Gwangju City Opens 'Invest Lounge' at Kim Daejung Center
Providing Workspace and Rest Area for Visiting Investors

View original imageThe Gwangju Metropolitan Government and the Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority announced on July 9 that they have newly established the 'Invest Gwangju Lounge: Invest GwangJu Lounge' on the first floor of the Kim Daejung Convention Center, and that it will be operated for six months until December.
The 'Invest Gwangju Lounge (IGL)' is a multi-purpose lounge designed to promote the Gwangju Free Economic Zone brand and provide a comfortable business consultation space for domestic and international corporate investors. It consists of a 21-square-meter workspace and an 18-square-meter relaxation area. In addition, a relaxation area open to all citizens has been created to enhance accessibility.
In particular, the lounge has been equipped with enhanced business functions such as small meeting rooms and individual workspaces, so that it can be practically utilized by MICE industry professionals and investors visiting Gwangju.
Sun Seokgi, head of the Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority, stated, "This space will be used to intuitively introduce Gwangju's strategic industries and corporate investment environment," adding, "We will operate it as an open space for both citizens and companies to enjoy together."
Choi Taejo, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Industry Bureau, also emphasized, "The Invest Gwangju Lounge will serve as a communication channel to effectively convey Gwangju's industrial strengths," and added, "We will actively promote Gwangju as an attractive city for investment."
