On this day, Seo-gu held an experiential event called 'Happiness Pharmacy' at Deulbul Hall in the Seo-gu Office to promote the mental health and emotional relaxation of public officials.
'Happiness Pharmacy' featured a variety of activities that attracted significant interest from employees, including: Mind Prescription (a drawing test to help understand resilience and current emotions), Fortune Prescription (consultation using tarot cards), Laughter Prescription (three-cut photo and caricature sessions), and Posture Prescription (body type and gait analysis).
An employee who participated in the event said, "It was a warm comfort to my heart, which was weary from work," and added, "It was a meaningful time to laugh and communicate with my colleagues."
Since its first operation last year, 'Happiness Pharmacy' has received an enthusiastic response from employees, leading to an additional session. This year, in order to improve accessibility, Seo-gu plans to operate 'Happiness Pharmacy' as an outreach event at the administrative welfare centers in Kumho 1-dong and Chipyeong-dong, in addition to the main office.
Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu, said, "I hope that Happiness Pharmacy will serve as a warm pause that soothes the hearts of our employees," and added, "We will continue to expand programs that can enhance the emotional resilience and positive energy of our organization."
Meanwhile, since May, Seo-gu has been operating a healing program called 'Rest Class' for employees during lunchtime. In May, a group PT session for body correction was held; in June, a meditation class was offered; and this month, an oil pastel class is underway.
