LS Electric to Supply Ultra-High Voltage Transformers Worth 138.2 Billion KRW to U.S. Renewable Power Plants
LS Electric has secured a large-scale ultra-high voltage transformer project in the United States, marking an expansion of its local business operations.
On July 8, LS Electric announced that it had signed a sales and supply contract worth 138.2 billion KRW with its U.S. subsidiary, LS Electric America, for a "Renewable Energy Generation Project (PJT)."
Under this contract, LS Electric will supply ultra-high voltage transformers to LS Electric America, which has won a power system supply project for a U.S. renewable energy generation business.
Previously, LS Electric America had signed a transformer supply contract worth 173.5 billion KRW with a major U.S. renewable energy generation company.

According to this contract, LS Electric will supply ultra-high voltage transformers to renewable energy power plants, such as solar power plants, located in several western states in the United States. The contract is set to end on February 9, 2028.
