At 'Paldomabul', prizes such as local currency and tour passes usable at domestic vacation destinations were offered, and the tasting booth provided regionally distinctive snacks such as Daejeon fried soybeans and Miryang Eoreumgol apple juice.
In his welcoming remarks, KBA Chairman Ryu Jin said, "Countless local markets, lodging businesses, and self-employed individuals rely on even the smallest acts of consumption. It is time to revive the heart of our weakened domestic demand," adding, "I strongly encourage everyone to spend their summer vacation in Korea. I myself will be visiting Sangha Ranch in Gochang, North Jeolla Province."
