Seoul SME CO-UP Academy Held
Sharing Best Practices in Cooperative Joint Projects
Over 30 Participants Engage in Action-Based Learning and Networking
The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Federation of SMEs announced on July 8 that it held the "Seoul SME CO-UP Academy" at the Gyeonggi Pocheon Furniture Industry Cooperative, with more than 30 participants including executives and staff from cooperatives in the Seoul area.
The Seoul Regional Headquarters organized this program to support the promotion of joint projects by SME cooperatives by sharing the "overall process and practical know-how of joint projects" from cooperatives recognized for excellence in joint business operations.
The Gyeonggi Pocheon Furniture Industry Cooperative, which was selected as a model case for joint business, has been carrying out a variety of joint projects. These include developing and operating an integrated business model centered on "MAHOL&," which opened in 2018 with national funding and combines a joint exhibition and sales hall, logistics center, and online platform.
