Guryong Village Fire in Gangnam, Seoul Fully Extinguished... No Casualties Reported
The fire that broke out in Guryong Village, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 6th was completely extinguished after one hour and thirty minutes.
According to the Gangnam Fire Station and other authorities, the fire started at around 3:23 p.m. on July 6, 2025, in a vacant room in Guryong Village, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and was fully extinguished at approximately 4:52 p.m.
A refrigerator, TV, and other items in the vacant room were destroyed in the fire, but there were no casualties.
To extinguish the fire, 70 firefighters, 21 vehicles, 4 Gangnam-gu Office officials, 12 police officers, and 2 Korea Electric Power Corporation officials were dispatched.

A fire department official stated, "We suspect that the fire was caused by an electrical issue involving either the refrigerator or the TV."
