Kim Junghyun Re-elected as 20th Union President of BNK Gyeongnam Bank
The BNK Gyeongnam Bank labor union announced on July 6 that Kim Junghyun has been re-elected as the 20th union president.
In the '20th Union President and Vice President Election' held via electronic voting on July 3, incumbent president Kim Junghyun received 1,397 votes (97.28%) and was re-elected.
Out of a total of 1,509 union members, 1,436 (95.16%) participated in this vote.
Kim Junghyun ran in this election alongside vice president candidates Oh Junseok and Kwon Gwangwoo and was elected. His term will begin in September and last for three years.
Kim Junghyun joined BNK Gyeongnam Bank in 2008 and has served as the 17th and 18th vice president of the labor union, as well as the 19th union president.
Kim stated, "I feel a heavy sense of responsibility in front of the 97.28% approval rate. I take it as a mandate from the union members not to stop and to make even greater changes, and I will firmly set the direction of the labor union. I will be a president who listens to the voices on the ground most closely and takes them most seriously."
