View original imageThe Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Road Association announced that they will hold the '2025 Road Day' commemorative ceremony in Seoul on July 7. Road Day was established in 1992 to commemorate the opening of the Gyeongbu Expressway on July 7, 1970. During the ceremony, 50 individuals?including engineers who contributed to smart technology innovation and advanced design in road construction, as well as workers who served in the field?will receive ministerial commendations. In addition, policy seminars and business consultation meetings featuring experts from various fields will take place. The seminar will focus on the current status and prospects of technologies utilizing new materials and recycled resources, sharing recent technological trends and discussing ways to promote their adoption. Business consultation meetings will also be held between officials responsible for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and road safety from ASEAN member countries such as Indonesia and Cambodia, and domestic companies.
