Russia Launches 550 Drones and Missiles After Putin-Trump Phone Call
The Ukrainian Air Force announced that Russia launched its largest-ever airstrike from the night of July 3 (local time) through the early morning of July 4, deploying a total of 550 drones and missiles.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the attack involved 539 Shahed-type drones and imitation drones, as well as a total of 11 ballistic and cruise missiles.
As of 8 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force stated that it had intercepted 268 Shahed-type drones and 2 cruise missiles, while 208 drones were lost due to their locations.
A spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force emphasized that this Russian overnight airstrike was the largest since the war began in 2022.

According to foreign media, a total of 23 people were injured in this Russian airstrike. The Russian strike on Kyiv also caused damage to part of the Polish Embassy in Ukraine.
