83 More Eligible for Humidifier Disinfectant Relief Payments, Total Now 5,908
On July 3, the Ministry of Environment announced that at the 45th Humidifier Disinfectant Victim Relief Committee meeting, a total of 127 cases were reviewed, and relief payments and damage grades were approved for 83 individuals.
At the committee meeting that day, relief payments were approved for 48 newly recognized victims, and damage grades were finalized for 35 individuals who had previously been recognized as victims but had not yet received a damage grade.
The victims who were approved for relief payments and damage grades include 11 lung cancer patients. As a result, the cumulative number of people eligible for humidifier disinfectant relief payments has reached 5,908.

The Ministry of Environment stated that, based on the results reviewed and approved at this committee meeting, it will proceed without delay with relief payments and other support measures for victims.
