President Lee to Attend Town Hall Meeting with Local Residents in Daejeon on July 4
President Lee Jae Myung will hold his second town hall meeting since taking office at 2:30 p.m. on July 4 at the Daejeon Convention Center.
The Office of the President announced that President Lee will listen to the opinions and requests of small business owners and self-employed individuals who are struggling due to the recent economic downturn, and will discuss solutions to resolve toxic debt together. In addition, he will discuss the direction of scientific and technological development with members of the science and technology community, and receive open suggestions from local residents.
Attendance at the event will be on a first-come, first-served basis for approximately 300 local residents at the venue on the day of the event. Entry for residents will begin at 1:00 p.m. At the entrance, a "Suggestions for the President" form will be provided so that all attendees can submit their opinions and requests to the President.

On June 25, President Lee visited the National Asia Culture Center in Gwangju, where he met directly with residents of South Jeolla Province and Gwangju City to discuss the local issue of the "relocation of Gwangju and Muan airports."
