SAP currently separates its services by offering cloud infrastructure (CSP), cloud operation (MSP), and ERP implementation and operation services through different partners. However, as a Premium Supplier, a company is able to provide all of these services independently. SAP grants this qualification only to partners that meet its own standards for both cloud and ERP capabilities.
With this partnership, Samsung SDS plans to accelerate SCP-based ERP transformation projects not only for companies considering cloud-based ERP adoption, but also for customers in the public and financial sectors. In particular, the company will establish a dedicated cloud service environment for the public and financial sectors, which require high levels of security, and will provide services directly supported by SCP-based service specialists.
Christian Klein, CEO of SAP, stated, "Korea is an important strategic market for SAP, and this Premium Supplier Partnership reflects Samsung SDS's proven capabilities in cloud services, ERP implementation, and operation in the market." He added, "We are committed to providing world-class cloud ERP services to Korean customers, accelerating business transformation, and driving innovation."
