Namyangju City to Support Companies with Labor Costs and Youth with Namyangju Love Gift Certificates for Employment
Namyangju City Recruiting Participants
for the "Ilchwiwoljang" Youth Internship Program
On July 2, Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor: Joo Kwangdeok) announced that it is recruiting young participants for the "2025 Ilchwiwoljang Youth Internship Program" until the 29th. The program aims to promote a virtuous employment cycle by providing practical job experience to young people and supporting labor costs for companies.
This initiative is a youth-company job connection program planned by Namyangju City to expand youth employment opportunities and lay the foundation for local business growth.
The core of the program is to match outstanding local companies with young people, providing the youth with hands-on work experience and Namyangju Love Gift Certificates to support their livelihood, while easing the cost burden of hiring new employees for companies.
Eligible applicants are young people aged 19 to 39 who reside in Namyangju City and companies located in Namyangju City with at least three regular employees.
Youth participants in the program will receive 300,000 won per month in Namyangju Love Gift Certificates for three months, while selected companies will receive 700,000 won per month in labor cost support per hired youth, also for three months.
Namyangju City expects this program to provide young people with opportunities for career development and companies with a chance to secure stable talent, thereby offering practical support to both groups.
Last month, Namyangju City completed the recruitment of 17 participating companies and published their information on the city’s official website.
Youth wishing to participate should check company information on the city website, select their preferred companies in order of priority (up to three), and submit the application form and required documents such as a resident registration certificate to the designated department by email.
Matching between youth and companies will proceed through individual interviews and each company’s own recruitment process. Up to 15 participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis within the budget, according to the order in which youth-company matches are completed.
However, the program may close early if the budget is exhausted.
