Wando County in South Jeolla Province has introduced a 'Smart Mailbox' for the first time in the province to systematically manage civil complaint documents and strengthen security.
According to Wando County on July 2, the newly installed Smart Mailbox is designed to open and close using a touchscreen system instead of the traditional key method, which enhances both security and convenience.

View original imageOnly pre-registered staff members can open the mailbox, and all usage history is automatically recorded, reducing concerns over document loss, unauthorized access, or damage. The county expects this system to fundamentally prevent the leakage of personal information and to improve the reliability of administrative document management.
A county official stated, "We will continue to expand our resident-centered smart administration infrastructure so that county residents can receive administrative services more safely and conveniently."
