GlobalTopNet Selected for National Project to Develop High-Efficiency Data Center Technology to Address Power Consumption
GlobalTopNet, an IT company based in Busan and led by CEO Lee Hyunho, has been selected as the final participant in the "Joint Cooperation Project for the Development and Advancement of High-Efficiency New Technologies for Data Centers." The project is overseen by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT and is organized by the Busan Metropolitan Government.
This initiative is a response to the rapidly increasing power consumption of data centers, which has accompanied the explosive growth of the digital industry. The goal is to build a sustainable digital infrastructure through high-efficiency and high-safety technologies.
Through this project, GlobalTopNet will develop high-efficiency data center technologies centered on "AI deep learning servers equipped with server cooling systems." The company plans to implement an AI-based smart energy management system and high-precision thermal control technology, as well as introduce advanced server cooling and fire response systems. With these measures, GlobalTopNet aims to ensure both operational stability and safety.
CEO Lee Hyunho stated, "Being selected for this project is both a technical challenge and an opportunity. We will realize an intelligent system that can efficiently reduce energy consumption in high-heat, high-performance AI server environments and automatically respond to fires or system failures."
