Woo Sang Ho, Senior Presidential Secretary for Political Affairs, announced this during a briefing on July 1. The event will be attended by Kim Sun Min, leader of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party; Seo Wang Jin, floor leader of the same party; Kim Jae Yeon, leader of the Progressive Party; Yoon Jong Oh, floor leader of the same party; Chun Ha Ram, acting leader and floor leader of the Reform Party; Yong Hye In, leader and floor leader of the Basic Income Party; and Han Chang Min, leader of the Social Democratic Party. From the Presidential Office, Chief of Staff Kang Hoon Sik and Senior Secretary Woo will participate.

Senior Secretary Woo explained, "This meeting is intended to broaden the scope of dialogue with other opposition parties, following the recent meeting with the leaders of the negotiating parties," adding, "It will proceed freely without any set agenda." He further stated, "At this meeting, the President will provide a detailed explanation of the current state of national affairs and various pending issues, and will ask for the cooperation of the opposition parties."
