KIGEPE to Discover Outstanding Violence Prevention Content... Contest Open Until July 29

Submission Open for the "2025 Violence Prevention Education Recommended Content Contest"

The Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (KIGEPE), under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, is holding a contest for content focused on violence prevention in areas such as sexual violence, sexual harassment, domestic violence, prostitution, and integrated education.

On July 1, KIGEPE announced that it is accepting submissions for the "2025 Violence Prevention Education Recommended Content Contest."

The "Violence Prevention Education Recommended Content System," introduced in 2014, has contributed to improving the effectiveness of education and revitalizing prevention education by discovering and distributing outstanding content from both public and private organizations.

This contest will run until July 29, 2025, and is open to content developed within the past three years (from 2022 to 2025). Organizations wishing to participate should submit an application form and an overview of their violence prevention education content via email. If there are related materials (such as USB drives or booklets), they should be enclosed and sent by post as well.

The recommended content will be selected through user review and expert evaluation, and will be uploaded to the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family's integrated education management website for use as violence prevention education materials for public institutions, schools of all levels, and the general public.

The evaluation process consists of a preliminary suitability review and a main evaluation (document review and evaluation committee meeting), during which the content is assessed according to criteria such as suitability, effectiveness, accuracy, gender sensitivity, and technical implementation. Final recommended content will then be selected.

The selected recommended content will be used as violence prevention education materials for the next three years. Institutions that use the recommended content in their education programs will receive an additional two points toward their violence prevention education performance score.
