Since his appointment on January 2 last year, Vice Governor Jeong has contributed to the county administration for one year and six months by meticulously managing key issues with his extensive practical experience and field-oriented administrative skills. In particular, he was recognized for enhancing administrative effectiveness by seeking realistic solutions tailored to each situation, rather than being constrained by existing frameworks.
County Governor Jeong Cheolwon said, "The work capabilities and attitude demonstrated by Vice Governor Jeong have set a great example for junior public officials," and added, "I am grateful for his solid support, which has become a strong foundation for the development of Damyang."
In his farewell address, Vice Governor Jeong stated, "It was a valuable time during which I was able to feel the passion of the citizens and staff up close," and added, "I will continue to sincerely support Damyang in the future."
Meanwhile, Vice Governor Jeong donated 2 million won in scholarship funds to the Damyang Scholarship Foundation to foster local talent in Damyang, and is scheduled to assume the position of Acting Director of the Health and Welfare Bureau of Jeonnam Province as of July 1.
