Mgen Solution Subsidiary to Supply AI Fire Suppression System 'AlphaShot' to Recycling Company Samyang Eco
On June 30, Mgen Solution announced that its subsidiary, Hyundai Infracore, will supply the AI-based fire detection and suppression system 'AlphaShot' to Samyang Eco, a company specializing in waste treatment and intermediate recycling.
Samyang Eco is a specialized processing company located in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, that recycles waste and construction debris. Due to the nature of its operations, where high-temperature equipment and flammable materials are concentrated, it is classified as a high fire-risk environment.
The AlphaShot system to be installed is an AI-based automatic fire suppression system that integrates advanced technologies such as infrared detection, control algorithms, and data transmission. In the event of a fire, it identifies the ignition point within 30 seconds and simultaneously sends an alert and automatically sprays extinguishing agent. Notifications are immediately sent to administrators and the fire department, enabling a rapid response.
In addition, by utilizing thermal imaging cameras and AI video analysis technology, the system can accurately pinpoint the location of a fire. Its 360-degree rotation capability allows it to detect and suppress fires in blind spots within a 50-meter radius, even if they are not visible.
Mgen Solution plans to continue strengthening industrial site safety with advanced AI fire prevention technology and accelerate expansion into both domestic and international markets.
