Gyeonggi Province Achieves $14.11 Million in Export Consultations at UK and Germany Export Meetings
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Regional FTA Trade Promotion Center held the "2025 Gyeonggi Province European Export Consultation Meeting to Respond to Non-Tariff Barriers" in London, United Kingdom on June 24 and in Frankfurt, Germany on June 28 (local time). Through 221 business consultations, they achieved export consultation results worth 14.11 million dollars.
This consultation meeting was organized to support the diversification of global markets for small and medium-sized enterprises in the K-beauty and daily consumer goods sectors. Ten companies participated, mainly those that had prepared in advance to obtain essential certifications within Europe.
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi FTA Center provided practical support to participating companies, including customized pre-consulting such as analysis of European Union regulatory trends and certification acquisition strategies, on-site one-on-one matching consultations and interpretation support, as well as partial support for airfare (50%), to ensure smooth export consultation activities.

View original imageAs a result of the consultations, in Germany, 115 out of 123 consultations have reached the contract promotion stage, totaling 1.69 million dollars. In the United Kingdom, 89 out of 98 consultations are proceeding toward contract promotion, amounting to 1.91 million dollars.
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi FTA Center plan to continue operating local consultation meetings, certification acquisition support, and customized training and briefings to help local companies overcome non-tariff barriers not only in Europe but also in various global markets such as North America, the Middle East, and ASEAN.
