View original imageOn June 30, Gwangju and South Jeolla Province will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located over the southern seas of Japan, resulting in mostly cloudy and hot weather.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the area will be affected by the periphery of the high-pressure system over the southern seas of Japan on this day. The morning low is expected to range from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high is forecast to reach between 28 and 35 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the West Sea and the South Sea are expected to reach up to 0.5 meters, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is projected to remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Infants, young children, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with chronic illnesses are more susceptible to heat-related illnesses, so please take extra care of your health."
