President Lee Jae Myung to Meet Cultural and Artistic Figures Including Six-Time Tony Award-Winning Writer
President Lee Jae Myung will meet with cultural and artistic figures, including Park Chunhyo, the writer of the Korean musical "Maybe Happy Ending," which won six Tony Awards, at the Yongsan Presidential Office on June 30.
On June 29, the Presidential Office announced, "President Lee will meet with key figures who have elevated Korean culture to a global level, thereby enhancing the status of Korea's soft power and the pride of the Korean people."
The event will be attended by soprano Jo Sumi, ballerino Park Yoonjae, director Kim Wonseok of the drama "Thank You for Your Hard Work," and director Heo Gayoung, who won first prize in La Cinef (Cin?fondation) at the Cannes Film Festival with her short and medium-length film "First Summer."
