This program was organized in collaboration with local cultural and arts institutions and was held over two sessions.
Participating educators personally refined and assembled wood to create their own "camping box," completing creative works that allowed them to reflect on their lives and express their emotions.
Participant A said, "I was worried because it was my first time doing woodworking, but I felt a great sense of accomplishment and healing as I touched the wood and completed my own piece. I think it will also provide good inspiration for activities with children."
Another participant, B, commented, "It was a healing time for my mind, and I hope there will be more opportunities for cultural and arts education such as art and crafts."
Chungnam Children's Character Education Center plans to continue offering cultural and arts education programs for early childhood educators next month. Applications for the program can be made on the Chungnam Children's Character Education Center website.
