to Begin in July, from Elementary Students to Adults
Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Suhyeon) announced on June 27 that the Dongbu Digital Competency Enhancement Center, a region-specific digital education hub, has opened and will officially begin operating its programs starting in July.

View original imageThis center is an open digital education space that serves all generations, from elementary school students to middle and high school students, as well as adults. It is designed to allow anyone in the community to systematically learn digital technologies and cultivate essential competencies needed for the future society through customized curricula tailored to various ages and skill levels.
The main programs offered include: the "Digital Challenge Program" for elementary students, which covers AI, robotics, 3D, and drones; a preparatory class for the AICE Level 3 certification; an AI Teaching Master course for adults; and a mentor-mentee based PBL project in collaboration with university students from related fields.
Each program is designed to broaden participants' understanding of the rapidly changing digital environment and to naturally foster foundational skills required for the future society.
