Boseong County to Host 'Integrity Concert' with Professor Kim Kyungil
Theme: "Happiness Comes from an Honest Heart"
Boseong County in South Jeolla Province announced on June 27 that it will host the 'Integrity Concert' at the Boseong County Culture and Arts Center from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on July 18, inviting Professor Kim Kyungil from the Department of Psychology at Ajou University as a guest speaker.
The 'Integrity Concert' is an event designed to raise awareness of integrity and strengthen ethical consciousness among local residents and public officials. It is part of Boseong County's efforts to promote a culture of integrity, following its achievement of a first-grade rating for three consecutive years in the Comprehensive Integrity Assessment conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
This concert will be held under the theme "Happiness Comes from an Honest Heart." Professor Kim is expected to explain the meaning and social value of integrity from a psychological perspective in an accessible way, while delivering an in-depth message about practical attitudes of integrity in daily life and their impact on our lives.
Professor Kim is a well-known psychologist, widely recognized for his appearances on broadcasts such as tvN's "Unexpected Adult" and KBS's "Visible TV Inside." He has received strong public support for his lectures, which convey complex human psychology in an easy and engaging manner.
This lecture is also expected to address the somewhat rigid topic of integrity in a pleasant and empathetic way, encouraging empathy and communication among attendees.
The Integrity Concert will operate on a first-come, first-served basis without prior registration, and will be open to the public free of charge, aiming to encourage voluntary participation and interest from county residents.
