YGPA Announces Sale of Phase 1 Site at Yulchon Convergence Logistics Complex
44,000 Square Meters of Land Designated for Future Advanced Materials Industry Facilities
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (YGPA, acting president Hwang Hakbeom) announced on June 27 that it will begin accepting applications for the sale of site A3-1 (44,000 square meters) within Phase 1 of the Yulchon Convergence Logistics Complex at Gwangyang Port.
The site available for sale is designated for future advanced materials industry facilities. Eligible industries for occupancy include manufacturing, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, as well as transportation and warehousing. Only applicants planning to operate businesses in these sectors may participate.
The preferred bidder will be selected through an open competitive bidding process, taking into account both the evaluation of business proposals and price scores. The deadline for submitting business proposals is August 27.
Hwang Hakbeom, acting president, stated, "We will strive to select the company most suitable for revitalizing the Gwangyang Bay Area and the local economy through a fair process."
