Daejin University (President Jang Seokhwan) announced on June 26 that it has been selected for the "2025-2026 University Support Project for High School Education Contribution" organized by the Ministry of Education, and will receive approximately 720 million KRW in government funding for the project.

View original imageDaejin University (President Jang Seokhwan) has been selected for the "2025-2026 University Support Project for High School Education Contribution" organized by the Ministry of Education for the 13th consecutive year, with total cumulative funding reaching approximately 8 billion KRW.
The "University Support Project for High School Education Contribution" is designed to strengthen the quality of high school education, ensure fairness and transparency in the university admissions process, restore trust in university admissions, and enhance the connection between the high school curriculum and university admissions. The project also aims to reduce the burden on students preparing for university entrance.
Daejin University was recognized for its achievements in the 2022-2024 University Support Project for High School Education Contribution and its plans for 2025. With approximately 720 million KRW in government funding for this year, the university will focus on: ▲ strengthening the expertise of admissions officers; ▲ expanding major experience programs based on the high school curriculum; ▲ providing customized admissions information for students, parents, and teachers; and ▲ establishing a cooperative system with local education offices and high schools to support the implementation of the high school credit system.
In particular, the university plans to operate various programs in collaboration with local education offices and high schools in Pocheon, where the university is located, as well as the surrounding northern Gyeonggi region. These programs aim to ensure the successful implementation of the high school credit system and to strengthen students' self-directed learning abilities.
